Whether you're a veteran, senior, student, first-time shopper, or just looking for a birthday freebie; Monday through Sunday we connect you to dispensaries offering guaranteed discounts you can actually use.

There are a few ways to quickly find the money-saving info you're here for:
1. Everyday Discounts page
Find guaranteed discounts based on who you are or when you shop.

Use the filters at the top of the page to choose DC or MD (or both), then select MED or REC.

Pick the discount type that applies to you -- Birthday, Student, Veteran, First-Time Shopper, Day-of-the-Week Deals, and more.

Dispensaries offering that discount will appear. Click "See the Deals" on any dispensary to view their full discount details, address, and other important info.
2. Search by Location or Name
Looking for a specific dispensary?

Use the search bar (found In the menu or home page) to find dispensaries by zip code, city, or name.

Each dispensary has a MED or REC tag -- make sure to check which one applies to you, the deals vary.
3. On Sale Today! page
See which dispensaries have products on sale now

Scroll down to the map, choose MED or REC, and find your current or preferred location.

Tap a dispensary's pin to open its info box, then click "See Sale Items" to go directly to the dispo's sale page.

If there's no "See Sale Items" link, that dispensary doesn't have a Sales + Specials page. (Bummer, we know.)

You can also check the "On Sale Today" button on a dispensary's listing page to view all disocunted products at that location.

If you spot incorrect or missing info, please get in touch! Click "Report a mistake" at the bottom of the dispensary's listing page to send us a quick update.

types of discounts
On Sale Today!: This button/tag takes you to the dispensary's specials page, a collection of all of the products on sale that day
Veteran/Military Discounts: Offered to those who have served in the military or active duty
Senior Discounts: Savings for individuals over a certain age, typically 55 or 60+
Student Deals: For students with valid ID
Industry Perks: For employees in the cannabis or related industries
Teachers' Perks: For teachers with proof of employment
Union Member Perks: Must show proof of union membership
On $ale Today: A group of specific products and brands on sale for the day
Day of the Week Specials: Discounts on specific products or for certain groups on designated days -- like 20% off concentrates on Wednesdays or special savings for veterans on Mondays.
Time of Day: Limited-time deals during specific hours, I.e. Happy Hour or lunchtime specials
Holiday Specials: Discounts tied to holidays or special occasions
Flash Sales: Spontaneous, limited-time discounts
Loyalty Points: Rewards for members who accumulate points with each purchase. Typically needs an email or phone number to sign up
Birthday Offers: Special offers on or around your birthday
Referral Bonuses: Get rewarded when you refer a new customer -- both you and a friend can score a discount or store credit
First-Timer Perks: Special discounts for new customers or patients, with some dispensaries also offering deals on your second or third visit
Bulk Discounts: Get more for less-- save when you purchase larger quantities
Bundle Deals: Get a discount when you buy select products together
Spend-based: Get rewarded for larger purchases (e.g., "Spend $100, get 10% off")
Medical Cardholder: (Maryland only) Exclusive pricing for medical cannabis patients, often 15-30% off of all purchases
Local Discounts: Savings for residents of a specific area (proof of address required)
Low Income, Compassionate, Disability, Medi/SDDI: For qualifying customers, contact the dispensary for requirements
Social Media: Get savings for following, sharing, or engaging with the dispensary on social media
Reviews: Discounts or freebies for leaving a review on platforms like Google, Weedmaps, or Yelp
Charity: Savings for contributing to a good cause, such as donating food, clothing, or school supplies
Online: Save by downloading the shop's app or using the online ordering system
get your medical license
The process is quick and easy, five to ten minutes online and you're good to go. Many DC dispos will help you through the process, call or check their site to confirm.
Adults 21+ can self-certify and get a temporary card you can use to shop immediately.
Registration starts at $10 for a 3 day pass. $20 for 30 days, $50 for 90 days, $75 for 180 days, or $100 for a full year
have an out-of-state medical card?
DC has reciprocity with states that have a medical cannabis program. Bring your med card, ID, and you're able to shop!
States: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina - Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia
There isn't any reciprocity for medical patients from other states, but anyone from anywhere (and 21+) is welcome to shop from the Adult Use menu at licensed dispensaries. Just bring your government-issued ID.

I'm RCP.
Born and raised in DCs green culture, I hit my first j in the parking lot of the Wendy's on New York Ave after a UCB show. Since 2016 I've hosted hundreds of events, welcoming half a milli flower lovers from the DC/MD/VA area and cities up and down the East Coast, spreading good vibes and sharing knowledge about products, strains, terpenes, and methods of consumption.
Now, with this site, I'm excited to help my friends in the community save money every day by giving you direct access to premium cannabis products at prices that make sense. Because I believe that the cannabis industry needs more people-focused standards and policies. And I believe in lower prices and higher customers.
Save on Green is young, but still the only platform in town that won't play favorites -- completely independent and unaffiliated with any dispensaries, manufacturers, or cultivators. No slimy pay-for-play. I'll stick to solid ethical standards and keep everything transparent, so you'll always know when content is sponsored. I'm not against hosting ads and whatnot, but it won't get ridiculous. No hidden agendas here -- just real, honest cannabis deals and discounts for a community I love.
